I am fairly certain this is a no street racing forum....me thinks you'll soon be flamed, deleted or both. I cant plea innocence to not falling in to aggresive and sometimes even competitive street driving but I still stand that the street is not the place for such things, take it to the track.

Well, you said that you burned him to 100mph, so I'm assuming that it's not on the track, as you would have probably posted a timeslip. Most people don't just do 0-100 runs on the track.

So there.

because of your comment that stated to "to at least 100" which means that you let off at some point after that. if you were on the track you would have said i beat a camero ss, i ran a xx.xxx @ xxx.x and he got a xx.xxx @ xxx.xx

there is no rule written that says no street racing threads, but its common that people don't post them as many people here are against street racing because its stupid, dangerous and illegal. and you are putting more people than just yourself in danger.
so those that do post them tend to get a negative response from people that read it.

I was a victim of street racing. I now have 16 stitches on my head. The Doc said 1/2" deeper cut would've been a totally different story. when you go through something like that you really can't take this issue lightly.
you know, what really pisses me off is that I wasn't even racing.

I'm not saying dont have fun. but be very careful where and how you do it.

This thread has gotten off topic way too much. If Opus said he was not street racing then I guess he was not street racing. Last time I checked, I-Club was not a court room of law so I think a lot of you should stop trying to prove him wrong. Racing on a closed circuit road is not illegal if it is private and either is a track as you all know. Yes street racing has its risks and what not but like he said, he never said post your burns on the street. He is somewhat of a new member to I-Club but he has had his car longer then mine. I think that you guys can sometimes discourage new members by "flaming" their threads even though it is not nessesary like this one. His imput is of value to us all being impreza owners. I am sure many of us are guilty when it comes to racing from a light sometime in our life. Its just a way of the man.

So now, lets post those burns, on the track or a closed circuit road.

Justin

Please don't post street racing threads on i-Club.

Thanks for your support.
