neons look and sound like sh it so it doesnt matter if they are faster in a straight line, bcuz they are driven by idiots who would wreck it on the twistys anyway

Actually in the Sep. 2005 Car and Driver comparo between the WRX and the SRT-4 (among others including the RSX-s), the SRT-4 had a faster time in the road course.

I feel you on this! A neon srt tried to race me. He was doing everything in the book to try to race me, but I wasn't having it. I was trying to ignore him minding my own business just shaking my head. He just wouldn't let off...this dumbass thinks he's auditioning for Fast and Furious. So...here's what I did(Keep in mind: I have a temper and I don't take BS) I rolled down my window and gave him a middle finger. After that, I followed him for a while to teach him a lesson and as I exited I flicked him off and so did my GF.

Reminds me of a few weeks back when this SRT reved at me.
Just left work and he was going the opposite direction as I. As he passes by he revs hiss, hiss and makes his exhaust pop real loud. I'm sitting there thinking ugh f-ing srt's. Then a WRX a few cars back from him passes by and we trade waves. Gota love the subbie community.

you know. I registered on this fourm just to post here. Id like to make a few points.
1) All cars have d!ckhead drivers that rev at everything they see and try to race you in traffic. Ive seen it in subaru's, honda's nissans, gm's ford's. They exist everywhere. Stop pretending all srt-4 drivers are douches and everyone else waves at each other and gives high fives. Yes some srt-4 drivers are like that but alot of them arent.
2)Who cares that our cars dont have rear windows? You guys are part of the performance car scene and all you can complain about is the fact that the rear windows are crank? comon that is the dumbest thing ive ever heard. Are you telling me that if your wrx had crankdown rear windows youd have passed on it?
3) Yes our car is a neon. Anyone who denies that is simply that. In denial. Just like anyone that thinks there wrx isnt an impreza is also in denial.

4) Using "its still a neon" as a basis for an argument is nearly as bad as complaining about the rear windows. Not only is it completely devoid of anything other then the stereotype neons recieved wayback when they were less then reliable and made by plymouth 10 years ago. But its also circular reasoning. If you want to bash srt-4s use somthing other then "its still a neon" and "the back windows are crank"

Actualy I have alot of respect for SRTs. Most of them time i've crossed paths they arnet douche bags. But the few times they've reved and blown off at me give the whole lot of you a bad image.

Anyway.. . you shouldn't say "alot of them aren't douches "... what you should say "few of them aren't douches".... big difference.

I encounter many of them.. I just ignore them. not worth my time. ...plus... its a effin Neon.
