Stock and Beat a Int GSR Turbo

Okay. Im sixteen and i just currently got my license. And my parents bought me a 2006 Impreza WRX Sti. Im not even that good at racing but I raced a 1998-2001 Integra GSR with Turbo Boosting 8psi with Intake, Custom Catback Exhast. He was like 20 years old but i beat him on the highway from a 45mph Roll. Do you think something is wrong with his car or is it that New 06 Sti's are faster? Because my cousin has an 2005 Sti and he got Whipped!!

Either from a dig or roll you will owen him.
The 06 STI is faster period plus it is a newer car.
You also have more displacement and a more efficient turbo.
Your lucky my cheap parents wouldn't buy me Ford Pinto when I
was your age congrats and take good care of it.

Here's a thread on break-in

https://www.i-club.com/forums/engine-power-ej25t-sti-2006-wrx-90/sti-break-question-95516/

Many people have many, many, many different ideas of proper break-in but here's a good one.
