i really dont want to turn this into a war debate but im gonna say it like this

germany = anti-war since WWII, they will never fight again
france = anti-american.

if you think this is just the sentiments of one american, myself, i have read several news articles, Wall Street Journal first and foremost, who substantiate this claim. they have said that no clear reasoning has arose out of france for not giving their support to the us, aside from being anti-war out of spite. sad, but probably true.
