MBasile

MBasile I am not 2 imprest with that vid I am not even that good of a driver and I think I could do beter than that. you were in the dirt and I did not see your car counterstear once now you know you could do beter that that. as for streat racing dont bash on it it has been done for years it is part of american culture.
and as far a keeping it to the track, when are you going to be able to find a track like 49 south? there are no beter tracks than backroads. y do you think the wrc used real roads for there tarmac runs. just cuz you dont have the ***** to run you bugeye on a road were if you mess up you go off a cliff or into a wall dose not mean you are beter that anyone on iclub. you all need to nock this crap of and go drive your cars around the block a few times to cool off.

:rotfl: I never said my video was an example of great driving, it was safe fun. He asked for other other peoples driving videos, so I posted mine. I will bash on street because it is incredibly dangerous and one of the stupidest things you can do. There are no better tracks than a backroad? I can think of 4 off the top of my head (laguna seca, infineon, thunderhill, and buttonwillow) and those are just in CA. WRC does not use public roads for the special stages. True, public roads are used as transission stages but racers must obey speed limits and are docked points for going over the limit. As for the Special Stage routes, they are closed to public use and anyone near them has signed waivers, they know they are in danger. You sure, should be castrated so you cannot spread your retardation genes on to future generations.

Some tips for you:
research your points before you make them (ie: wrc racing on public roads) "confused"
street race, get caught and try to use this same argument with the cop
do a track day, you'll learn more than you ever could on the street about your car
street race again and and go off a cliff or into a wall. TIA

EDIT: removed personal insult so that all you have to respond to is my actual point and you cant try to ignore it while getting pissy about other things

EDITv2: one more point to add. Please look up the purpose of rally-x or auto-x. the goal is to complete the course with the lowest time. Sliding so much you require counter steer uses more time, you can use that time progressing forward rather than sideways. It is also done in a confined space and is a handling challenge rather than a 100% speed challenge

PM me if you're down for a run, I'm just about done with the clutch install.

never said anything about drag if I was draging my wrx I would not use a r160. also you are crazy if you think you dont ever slide you car to get a beter time.you ever heard of a hairpin. and the fastest you can go around a turn is when all four wheels are loosing tracksion mabe you guys sould read some books on racing you might do a little beter. as far as not learning on the streat that is just bull it is not like I live up in the city. if you would like I will give you a video trip of the roads that I live near. if you want to race me I would be glat to but you will have to wate for my 2.5 to go in *** my stock block is down at the moment. http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l3.../sema06361.jpg
http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l3.../sema06363.jpg. if you would like so reading to learn more maby you sould try the speed secrets set by Ross Benttly. I am just sayin dont go bashin people the guy put a dam vid on this post and you got to dawg on him for it and his driving. also you sould all know that the wrx 5speed is a peace of crap for drag. the gears are not ment for Quick shifts. and yes I know that you all think that you are beter for racing on the track but I have quite a few friends that do thunderhill and I have no problem taking them on the street. and also I am one of the few people that dont have a hard time takin out evo MR's in handaling on the streat. (and I know I am going to get crap for that but you all need to give up the MR car out handal alost any subaru. just in case you dont think I have a bud with an mr http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l3...y/oct06106.jpg
as for your friend I would love to race you on the sreet but I would say you might have a bit of a home advantage but that is cool aslong as you also come up here and try my roads. my babbys http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l3...Picture123.jpg
if you are really into subie's you will know y I put this pic http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l3...ewparts007.jpg
http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l3...Picture163.jpg and yes there is an avo 400 back there

wow, I dont even know if I should read any further since the logic (according to you) that side movement is better than forward movement and streets are better than the track

please don't get me wrong, its not YOUR safety I'm concerned about. Its everyone else that happens to be on the road. And enough god damned bragging about your car. everyone on here has a similar friggin car you moron! There are plenty of people on here that could beat your car with or without yours having a 2.5L. Please, get over yourself. You are not special. Nothin entitles you to be allowed to endanger other people on the road. No one really gives a **** about you or your car except maybe your buttbuddy that you jumped in to defend after people a) gave him crap for posting an illegal street racing video on a forum that does not allow talk videos and/or pictures of street racing and b) his plan to make everyone look like pussies for not posting any of their own driving videos crumbled when I did post a video

oh, and the 1/4 mile/Fast and the Furious was a joke, don't try to take it seriously and argue against it. It shows the resemblance between you and the stupid characters in the movie that think they are tough/cool for being street racers.

why dont you post up some of your street racing videos. Dont forget to include some clear shots of your plates so we know its really your car

In case you forgot the 1st post was

(This was posted by my friend. This is not promoting any sort of street racing. Just watch at your own free will. Enjoy.)

Then when he asked (Wheres your good *** driving vids?). He wasen't even talken to you, He was talken to Subynooby and you got all defensive and had to post your backyard racing vid. And yes that does look safe and no one wants to see it. Look at the views. Whos got the ratings now? Why don't you just leave this posting alone and stop criticizing because if you wanna play dad go have kid. Besides no one wants to hear your cry about how dangerous street racing is.
The last thing any one needs is some higher autority to tell us what to do on this board cause it seems like to me alot of ppl found interrest to click and watch the vid then go on with thie lives then to nag others to death about how bad and dangerous it is.
