-1 for ED@EQtuning.
long story short.
I got an appointment so he can tune my car @ EIP in San Jose.
He calls me up 1 day b4 the tuning session saying that EIP's dyno broke and he couldnt tune my car. So I asked if he can street tune it, he said his schedule's all messed up yadi yadi yadi yadi. How can your schedule be messed up if he had me down for 3hrs of tuning on his schedule? MAKES NO SENSE. So I personally called EIP up and they said their DYNO WAS FULLY FUNCTIONING AND IT NEVER BROKE!
SO -1 for Ed.

OH SNAP!
I had a scheduleing conflict over @ Gruppe-S when they were tunning. I was coming from 300 miles away and the night before my appt my buddy just so happen to ask Mike about the appt. I was not on the schedule even after calling to confirm. Luckily my old friend gave me some of his dyno time that day and alll worked out. I didn't leave them bad feedback because of it. Stuff happens man.

It was DYNO TUNE. he had me on his schedule for 3hrs. We were going to use EIP's mustang dyno. Then he made up an excuse saying their dyno broke. Which it didnt because i just got off the phone with them.

Wow.. sorry guys but I did not lie about the dyno. I recieved a call from Paul @ EIP yesterday telling me that the dyno is broken and won't be fixed for atleast a week. I have never had issues with Paul previously, so I generally take his word to be true. I am about to call him again to clear this up and see what's up. I'll let you know as soon as I find out more.
Thanks
Thanks

BTW, the reason my schedule got messed up is because I had another car scheduled to tune at EIP today as well. I basically had the entire day booked up. Since I had to cancel the other tune (he was not interested in a road tune), I had other commitements I had to take care of today to make another full tuning day available. I also re-scheduled you for a road tune next week and spoke with you on the phone earlier today telling you that I would try to get you in even earlier than the re-scheduled date. I'm sorry if there is any sort of misunderstanding and I apologize for the inconvenience this caused for you, but for the most part it was out of my hands.
Thanks
Thanks

I just called EIP. I did not speak with Paul, but I was informed that the dyno was fixxed today and is being tested right now to make sure everything is functioning propperly. I could hear the dyno in the background, so it does seem that it is back up and running. Paul will call me back as soon as he's done testing and I will try to clear this up further with him.
Please understand that I have no reason to lie about this dyno being broken as I had 2 cars for a total of 3 maps scheduled today. I am losing money and messing up my schedule as a result of this situation.
Thanks

Hai, I can move my schedule around tomorow and fit you in for a road tune but I would only be able to do one map since road tuning for two octanes generally ends up taking about 5 hours of actual time although I cap my charges at 4 hours. If this will help you out, I'll be happy to make the extra effort to accomodate you. Since you were originally interested in a dyno tune, however, I would highly suggest being a bit more patient and waiting untill next week. Please let me know what will work best for you.
Thanks
Thanks

On another note, I know of another shop that had to re-schedule dyno time at EIP because they were also informed that the dyno was down. I understand that its easy to jump to conclusions in situations like this, but its important to take your time and try to figure things out before doing so.
Thanks
