Wrx Towed Help!!!

Ok my wrx was towed yestaurday from my apartment becuase I failed to have a sticker saying I could park there. THe neighbor says it was towed from the front by 2 wheels... and it was towed for like 10 miles with the parking break on and it was in first gear....
The subaru guy says it will cost me 700 bucks to have my differential looked at.......
What should I do, I read a bunch of other posts on this subject and they all seem to lean towards small claims court, should I call the tow company first and complain, I already *****ed them out last night and they basically wanted nothing to do with it..........
Should I demand the money from the tow company for 700 to get my car inspected ?????????

i believe most apt's policy that requires a parking permit to park in their parking lot also says if you fail to do so, the car will be towed at "owner's expense". so...i'm not sure if you can do anything about it. Hopefully i'm wrong, and someone else can give you better advice. Sorry to hear that.

Try to get them to pay for it but DEFINATELY get your dif. looked at as there could be major problems from towing it like that.

sorry to hear about that bro. i dont think theres a lot you can do about it unless theres nothing posted about being towed if u dont show a parking permit. if there is no sign saying you cannot park without a permit or your car will be towed then there HAS to be some way to get whatever the dumb towing ***ker broke on ur car fixed without you paying for it. i just dont know how cuz im stupid when it comes to law.

I think that "towed at owners expense" means that the owner of the towed car must pay for the tow itself.

you would think that a towing company would know that a WRX is all wheel drive. Anyway, I would definetly go after the towing company for any damages cused to the car.
