hello i wan to upgrade my gearbox to RA gearset what shoud i buy??

Besides the RA gearset, a good idea is to replace all of the other parts that suffer wear and tear at the same time. A good shop will know what to replace. Inspect shift forks for cracks.

If you need to upgrade a 5MT much more than the RA gearset, you'd probably want to look into the 6-speed gearbox unless you race in a class that doesn't allow it.

You should probably search for Subaru rally suppliers local to you for the RA gearset and shops to rebuild your transmission. i-Club is primarily a north American message board. The RA gearset is often in great demand and vendors are often out of stock as a result.

TWE does entire gearbox cryo treatments. They claim that it SIGNIFICANTLY increases the Torque/HP capabilities of the factory tranny.

I have the JDM STi gearset in mine. I'm sending my tranny off to them next week to get it done. I HATE the 6sp because of the crappy ratios. My power band is 4k rpm, not 2k like the 6MT was designed for.
