transmission slipping

Yooo, i have a 02 wrx with 55k miles. i just bought it used when it had 53k miles on it and its been great so far untill the other day when i noticed that the tranny was slipping. normal driving its fine and its fine when im really gettin on it. the only time it slips is when i floor it at low rpms and wait for the turbo to spool up and the rpms to raise. for example, of im goin 30 mphs in 3rd gear and floor it, wait for the turbo to spool and once it hits a little above 3k rpms it wil slip. it will almost feel like its in neutral for a second. the rpms will raise 1000 or 1500 rpms and then even out. i checked the tranny fluid and i was a little low. i put fluid in and its still doing it. could a worn clutch be doing this? what could be wrong, any advice would be greatly appreciated

Probably the clutch. If the revs are climbing faster than should be when and the car is not accelerating to match those revs, then you have some slippage. Most likely the clutch. Get it checked out before your warranty expires at 60000 miles.
