Cool transmission question..

hey guys i got a question about beefing up my tranny.
basically my set up is going to be pushing a conservative [i do mean conservative ; ) ]
450 whp. thanks to ecutek and tarmac once i get down there. basically i'm running the aps sr55 turbo amongst a looong list of other stuff that's all boxed up in my closet (waiting for my injectors from ralleysport) but basically the one thing i haven't really looked into is my tranny. i've been thinking about using the ra spec gears but i know that they're not really made for that kind of power. i won't be pushing my car hard because it is indeed a daily driver but i do plan on going to the track once a week and i'm thinking if i go easy on the ra spec's they'll last - hopefully for a long while. but other then that i was thinking about the sti tranny since i don't want to go dogbox or even a semi synchro'ed dogbox - not with my daily driver. lemme know your opinions and if anyone out there read's this with over 500 horses lemme know what you got going with your tranny! peace.

For something around that horsepower it would be
1. Suicide with a stock tranny
2. Iffy with a R/A gearset

The only way truely to get a reliable tranny that you can track on weekends with that setup is the JDM 6 speed and everything that goes with it. Those are meant to hold up to 550 hp.
