Planing To Swap My Automatic 2.5 Rs Into A Wrx 5 Speed, Can You Guys Tell Me Everything That I Need To Make It Happen, Thanks

 

I have an 01 rs auto and am trying to do the same thing. I already talked to the guys at vakamon. They said I need to get either a new ecu or get the manual tranny codes from the same year car and they can do some computer magic and abracadabra b! your manual works. It helps immensely if you already have a donor car to take all the parts from. If not, they gotta hunt down a donor car that is still in good condition. That may take a while unless you wanna order the parts from japan or hunt them down yourself. I just talked to someone here in the rs forum and they said try searching for swapping maps on the net to see what you find. Anyhow, if I find out anything I'll lyk.
