Tips for splitting case open

Tips for splitting case open

As the thread title states, I removed all the case assembly bolts and removed the transfer/extension assembly.

Are there any tools/tips which would do a better job then going to town on it with a hammer and flat blade screw driver?

if it is anything like the short block, they are "glued" together. with some gasket seal/epoxy i think.
