Exclamation throw out bearing from hell

im running a 2005 sti 6 speed, installed with a exeddy pressure plate, the car is a 480whp car the problem im having is that when the cluch is depressed, the bering separates from the pressure plate, thus i have no cluch peddle , any ideas, or thoughts on what the cause would be, i thought maybe to strong of a pressure plat

Incorrectly installed throwout bearing probably.. I'm running an exedy stage 3 setup.. Works fine.. Did you buy it used? Did you use the throwout bearing that came with the kit?

There is a locking ring that you have to first lift away from the PP.. Then you snap the throwout bearing in and lock the ring down.

this is the third time iv installed the cluch, never had the problem till now, whats happening is that the locking part keeps riping out and separating from the pp, the TOB locks in to it , ill finish the rest of the install and get in to drive it and apply the cluch and u can hear the loud POP as the locking ring brakes away, also the shift fork lays all the way back against the housing
