Swapping from 02 to an 06 tranny
Im trying to figure out what i want to do next from a tranny swap.. cant afford an sti tranny so i was offered a 07 wrx tranny. what would i need to get to swap from an 02 to an 07?

You can make it work but not do cheap. You would need to change a few critical parts as one is push and the other is a pull type clutch

damn yea i just read some more about it and it requires a whole lot of parts.. im still debating on what i can do since i need to get my gears replaced or just pick up a used tranny

I have a 06 r160, slave cylindar, axles (tho I think yours will work). Swapped to 6mt recently.
