Subaru's WRX Short Shifter
I have the optional subaru short shifter for my 2002 wrx. I'm looking to replace it with an aftermarket short shifter. My question for you all: is there a big enough difference betweetn the subaru short shifter and any aftermarket ones to justifity the cost of a new one. My guess is that there is a difference, but i would like your thoughts. also, what are some of the good aftermarket short shifters out there? thanks everyone!!

Well the factory short shift replaces more than just the lever.
I did the factory short shift w/Kartboy bushings and the momo shift **** and I love the feel.

if you go with a kartboy make sure that you get the shifter for the 2.5RS or it will not fit. The factory short shifters require you to use the karboy shifter for the 2.5RS. If you have any other questions please let me know.
