They are very very short. If you spend a lot of time on the freeway, actually, if you spend ANY time on the freeway, you probably won't want them. You would get a faster car with horrible fuel economy and a lot of noise at higher speeds.

Hmmm....not too sure about those being so short. With a 3.9 final drive, they look fine. With a 4.44 on the other hand........

I have the RA gears, and they're fine on the highway. You do end up sitting at a bit higher RPM when you're cruising down the highway at 70 or 80 MPH, so you will use more gas, but you can't get something for nothing.

(I can't comment on the noise, since my car's a noise pit anyway)

i had the opportunity to test ride a car with the RA gearset....they are indeed very short!!! he was shifting pretty much twice as often as me. it pulls hard, but for people who like to keep their gas mileage above 19mpg, it's not the right solution.

I have a jdm 6 speed and I cruise 80mph at 3750rpms, my mpg havent gone down that much. I went on a 500mile drive where I averaged 26.5mpg, not that bad in my opinion, boost on demand too. ;}
