I just wanted to know what the stock specs say for which gear oil to use. I replaced mine with (I think it was) Wakos 75W-90 GL-5 Semi-synthetic after a clutch/flywheel change. Now my shifting feels "notchy" (as I heard somebody say before) and I get a great deal of resistance when power shifting into 2nd and 3rd. Sometimes I cant go into 3rd at all until I back the stick into neutral and try again. My friend says its the oil messing with the synchros.

Also, if anybody could, please suggest a good gear oil for racing (I know to stay away from Mobil 1 from past reading) that is close to stock spec. Thanks!

Also, ever since changing clutch/flywheel and oil, I noticed there is a light gear grinding sound if I decellerate with the tranny in gear. Can this be caused by the oil?
