I noticed driving her car w/short throw it seems that the car is less powerful sometimes, i feel more pull with a normal manual (WRX), why is this?

Probably because you drive harder and the ECU in your car has "learned" this. I recently changed my battery and was amazed at how different the car felt with a reset ECU. It felt a bit slower and a bit smoother. Of course I floored it every chance I got for the next couple weeks and now it is back to it's old peppy self.
FWIW, I have a short throw in my '02. I drove it for a month before the short throw parts came in, and imho, it was not worth the money.

there arent any real pro's or cons , all a short throw shifter does is change the feel of shifting, if it feels good to you, go for it, youll improve your shift times a bit also, but without a lighter flywheel it wont matter that much cause you should still rev match...

I like it just fine, but don't consider it worth the extra cost.
