Shift Trim
If i install the shift trim now then i go to install my short shifter in a few weeks will i have to take off the shift trim to do so?

no, the shift trim can stay on, instead that whole peice comes off as 1

When you change the shifter;
1. Take off the shiftknob
2. Take out the center console
3. Install shifter
4. Put everything back together
5. Do the happy dance
