Question Shift *****, shift *****, shift *****

I hope I'm not alone in the universe. I was just wondering if this has happened to you. You get into your car on a hot day, ya know like 104 or so, grab your shiftknob to throw her in reverse and pull your hand back only to find the logo for Prodrive burned into your palm like the headpiece to the Staff of Ra was burned into the hand of that **** in Raiders of the Lost Ark. Now I beseach all in the Impreza universe does anyone out there know of a direct replacement ball type shifter **** that is made of something other then metal. Leather or carbon fiber would be good.

i think that Kartboy makes ball type shifters that are plastic, as does Perrin.
