i have talked with a few places they told me the ra gears might not hold the power that my car makes.

Okay, I'll bite. How much wheel horsepower and torque on what type of dyno does your car/engine put out?

If your engine makes enough power (torque) you can break any gearset over time.

If your driving style is hard on mechanical parts you can break many gearsets over time.

The RA gearset is a good, cost-effective step up from the stock 5MT. You can always get the 6MT and the various necessary components (see 'sticky' at top of this forum) for a robust, albeit not inexpensive option.
