Kartboy. half the price of an STi shifter, and the shortest shift throw that i know of, it makes a night and day differance in the car. also, spend the additional $30 for the shifter bushings. the only trick with these is not accidentally hitting something expensive with a hammer while your installing it (you have to hit it with a dead blow hammer to seat the ball and socket joint, and if you miss the stereo is right there).

I installed one on a local guy's WRX wagon. He seems to like it.

I would still recommend the STi one even though I do agree it is expensive.

I've driven both the STi and a KB back to back. I've also installed a KB shifter in an STi linkage. The only difference is the height of the shift ****. KB's sits lower, if you get a cobb adj one you can set it where you like. The STi linkage is exactly the same as the stock setup, the bushing is virtually the same as stock too.

I got mine on eBay for $35. Works just fine, significantly shorter than stock, no complaints. Not as short as Kartboy, but it is closer to the wheel, which is just as important.

I think you got some sort of prosthetic limb for the Terminator.

I can't see how that thing will go in easily if at all.
