noises from transmission?

I had my swaybar and a new subframe put in yesterday.
On my way home, i start t hear this whining noise.
It happens usually when i am going 50mph+ and let go of the throttle.
Sounds almost like engine breaking, but then the noise is still there even if i roll it in neutral.

Could it be my differential?

Anyone have any idea?
thank you!

I thought you may have blown your flux capacitor there for a second.

Check your boost fluid level, it may be low.

Even if it's not low, it might be stale if he's never changed it. How old is the car, how many miles are on it, and when was the last time the boost fluid was changed?

You can get dipping sticks at most parts places that will turn different colors when you dunk them in the boost fluid reservoir, but they're kind of expensive. I normally just test the freshness of the boost fluid by checking the quality of the soot inside the exhaust pipe. Just get a little bit on your finger (the warmer the exhaust is, the better) and taste it. If it tastes kind of like apple-cinnamon mayonnaise, then you're good to go.
