new age awd system

hey i was wondering if anyone has any info(personnal experience or on the web) about the 02+ wrx's awd system configuration's. I understand how an awd system works, so please don't explain that, just wanted a description of the awd system specific to the wrx. Any help would be appreciated.

simple, mainshaft drives counter shaft through gears, counter-shaft spins the front diff located in the front of the tranny, which powers the front wheels through half shafts to the front wheels. Countershaft also spins center diff located in back of tranny, which spins a little stubby shaft located directly above it that bolts to the driveshaft which goes to the rear differential that powers the rear wheels. Simple, mechanical, on all the time.

The variations in the system among models are primarily, WRX gets limited slip rear and center diffs, while the STi gets limited slip rear and front, and an electronicly controlled center diff that can move torque front and rear automaticly or at the drivers will (DCCD).
