Need tranny for 02 WRX - which one?
I regularly compete in SCCA Solo 2's (yes it happen there) running in STX - so 6-speeds and RA gears are out. Due to their weakness, I think it's safe to say I DO NOT want another 02 or 03 tranny.

Planning to buy used:
- So would all 04 through 07 5-speeds be a direct replacement?
- Are there part numbers I should look for?
- In the replacement = anything to check before putting my $'s down?
