need some help! speed sensor causing CEL

i need to know if theres anything i can do about my check engine light, theres nothing wrong with the engine and i hate being stuck with a 4000 rpm redline

a diagnostic computer said my speed sensor #2 in the transmission is dead , is there any way to get rid of the CEL for good or jury rig somthing to fool it into thinking the sensor is fine?? i really cant afford a 120 dollar speed sensor and the labor to switch it out with a new one....

please help!

I'm haveing the same problem with my car. What mods do you have in yours?

I have the ProECM and the A'PEXi S-AFC, and the REV/SPEED Meter. Witch all work fine but I have the CEL telling me that it is my speed densor #2. I'm kinda thinking that it could be my ProECM but I'm not sure that is why I'm asking what mods you have.
