Exclamation leaky rear differential

i just noticed that my rear differential has been leaking on my garage floor. it appears to be going very slow...is it something i should be worrying about very quick? Is this covered under warranty? I have an 04 Sti with 10k miles. Any other sti owners had this problem cause i don't see what would have caused it?

Yeah, it should be covered by warranty. I have seen Subary rear ends leak due to leaky gasget or over/under tightening the drain/fill plugs.

Also, I have also seen the diff covers crack because of overtightening.

Overfilling it may also cause that.

Have you had diff oil changed on your car?
