A few month ago I went away for a few days and let my buddys wife drive my car (I know dumb thing to do in the first place) But here is the thing, when I came back I found out that she burnt out my clutch. Dont ask me how but she did. Guessing that she didnt take off the Ebreak or something.

So I got back to find out that she had it replaced with out even telling me any of this, and expected me help pay for it.

So when I got back I started to find that I was grinding going into 3rd gear, so I went and drained my gear oil and put new oil in. Which didnt help at all. I was told it is prob the Synchros, but I really dont want to belive that becuse I know that is going to cost me a lot of money.

Can anyone offer me any suggestion of what else should I check out. Could it be the Clutch? And if it is the synchros is their an easy fix?

yep sounds like your synchros...best thing to do is have a dealer diagnose it - if it's still under warranty and hasnt been raced or modified, it should be covered.

 

Well I bought my car used so their goes the cheep way! I will just have to take it and and see how much it is going to be. thanks!
