Question flywheel ?s

i was wondering if anyone has had goodluck witht the cusco flywheel that weights in at 7.7lbs on a WRX.......yes thats right, lbs. i've heard things about cell lights because of a lighter wheel but i've never seen one. the reason why i'm thinking about such a light wheel is because i'm going to auto-x the car.....so we'll see how things workout.......let me know if you guys know anything about my ?s...thanks a lot.

I do not recall CUSCO making a 7.7lbs flywheel. The lowest they have is a 4.6kg ~=10.3lbs

I did some research and concluded that anything lighter than 10lbs is too light. You will be risking to snap your timing belt and kiss your motor good bye.

Unless you use a heavy-duty timing belt and stiffer belt tentioner, I would not go below 10lbs.

the web page that i found the 7.7lb flywheel is http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/Templa...409&SearchYN=N but what you said about anything lighter than 10lbs makes sence.
