Dynoing on a 2wd dyno?
Is it possible to drop the rear driveshaft, and run a suby on a 2wd dyno?

There aren't any 4wd dynos around here, and I have a friend who has a 2wd dyno at his shop.. I figured since I can use his dyno for free, that it was worth a shot
I swear I posted this somewhere(perhaps you are a lowly crossposter
)
But you need a modified center diff to run in 2WD. There is only one company that I know of that does this pre-made for our car and it's about $400-500 for it. Then you'll have to figure out who is goping to install it
I believe the company is www.chiptorque.com.au go to "other products"

Don't do it!
I'm no expert but I HAVE read the Suby manual and they SPECIFICALLY said don't dyno your car on a 2WD dyno. It is burned into my tiny brain.
Also, don't get towed with 2 wheels raised into the air and two on the ground. Ever. You need to get onto a flatbed or, if you have a manual, you can be towed with all 4 wheels on the ground if your car is in neutral.

although you can, you wouldnt be able to get the true horsepower to the wheels. you'd only get the power to which ever wheel you're dynoing(is that how you spell dyno with ing?). it can be done but i think it'll be a waste of gas. or are you trying to keep it with 2wd?
