Drive shaft length difference between 4EAT and MT

Drive shaft length difference between 4EAT and MT

Is the length of the driveshaft a different size on the 4EAT then the MT? I have heard it is, but can anyone confirm this?

Now is it confirmed that the AUTO driveshaft is the same length as the 6MT driveshart?

Also, what is the difference in terminology between driveshaft and propeller shaft?

driveshaft, Driveline, propeller shaft... They are all the same thing. People like to use different names for different parts. Kinda like an O ring can also be called a seal or a gasket.

Yeah, driveshaft, propshaft are just different names for the same thing. This threw me off before as well.

If you had a pinon to make the Auto RS rear diff have a 4.111 final drive, instead of 4.444, would it mate up with the driveshaft and trans from a manual RS?
