"Differential retainer wrench" for 6-Speed
Has anyone swapped the front diff in a 6-speed and if so, what did you use to tighten/loosen the differential retainer plates on the bellhousing?
The 5-speed tool for the retainer plates is supposedly different than the 6-speed one (not that we have the 5-speed version) but the dealer states that they can't even get the 6-speed version! The techs at the dealer don't have one either-they just warranty the whole tranny if something happens now.
The part # from the dealer is 18630AA000 but they can't get it.
Anyone have one we can rent/borrow???
On the same note-anyone have the updated tranny section from the factory service manual with the 6-speed info in it?
Thanks-
Brad
