ACT 6 puck clutch for sti

so i just orddered the ACT 6 puck clutch for my 04 sti.... jus out of curiosity who has this clutch for there car... and how does it preform... how long has it lastedd you and how much stiffer then stock is it?

I have it, It can handle tons of abuse and last a long time. It is slightly stiffer than stock. Did you get the sprung or un-sprung?

crap there is a difference between the 6 puck and the unsprung... i just assumed it was all the same but i guess i got the normal 6 puck from jscspeed.com sooo what kind of difference will i notice from the unsprung o the normal 6 puck?

I think the springs in any clutch disc allow for slightly smoother engagement in street use and dampen some of the driveline shock into the transmission as the clutch is engaged.

I've only used sprung clutch discs in any clutch I've ever owned and can't tell you how the two types compare.

They are both still 6 puck clutches. Like wingless Wonder said the sprung version will engage better and smoother. Unsprung will be harsher for daily driving.
