just got a few more questions that came to me.
Do i need to buy a different tranny mount for the swap?
What car do i get the 3.90 ring and pinion from?
Is the factory clutch, flywheel, bearing and throw-out bearing ok to use? Simly put i assume the clutch and flywheel are based off the engine not the trans. but will the inputshaft and flywheel bearing clear, will the 5MT throw-out fit the 6MT.
Any probs reusing the starter?

You want a front LSD. All subies have them. My ABS works just fine.
I don't know where you read about problems with ABS, but I havn't experienced any for the last 70K miles.
Tranny mount should be the same ... but while you're there swap it with an "STi" mount.
3.90 ring and pinion was used on a Legacy ... I believe a '91.
You can reuse your 5 speed clutch/flywheel ... but if/when you have the money a 6speed will hold more power.
I still use the stock WRX started about 70k mi later.

Both the front and center diff are housed in the tranny, so then i would want to get a tranny with the code of 32000AF500 to get suretrack diffs for the front and center? Does the code specify the diff type for both diffs? anyway i was also wondering if i can get a rear suretrack lsd with a 3.90 gear set already installed? is there a car that already has this setup. i want suretrack all around but if i have to I will settle for a clutch type in the rear only.
