I have a 03 WRX. 38,000 miles... My car is grinding from 4th to 5th. The thing is, it is only doing this when the car completely warms up. And also, the weather here in the S.F. Bay Area has been cooler at night and I am now even noticing that it is grinding a lot less. All because the weather is cooler!!!

Anyone have any clue on what I should do?!?

PS. I had the dealer replace the fluid about 9 months ago.. I can't remember if the tranny was grinding before they changed it.. but I don't think it was... However I did install a KartBoy short shifter after the tranny fluid change..

Any help would be great..

I ordered this gearbox fluid... Hope this is going to solve my problems. Also ordered the KartBoy Shifter bushings.
