I was thinking it was the only used car they had and I had been without a car for a month and needed to get a job and needed a car to get a job.

Cobalt LT vs. WRX

WRX with 4eat won

Wife's DD is an auto, don't feel bad, M!

here's some consolation for you:
If you are into modding and is one of the the many who looks at drag racing as the ultimate in bragging rights, then you know at some point in upgrading this and that.... there will be that time when you have to shift faster than any human can, just so you can fully take advantage of all that power that's at your hand at that particular moment, trying to get the most out of your reaction with the least ET, here's when you'll need some kind of a modded auto trans of some sort.

Case in point is Dominic/Sam Rigoli's GC bod Impreza WRX dragster! Awesome ain't it? Look it up if you want and it's just a tad over 600 ponies.

No need to knock it, that day will be golden if everyone has and knows how to drive manual. But, common sense, practicality and convenience makes it go the other way.

FWIW, mine's 6MT, wifey asks, do they come in auto?

I have an 05 RS manual, and I find that more often than not an automatic would be nice. I am glad i have a manual, but with all of the time I spend in traffic an auto would be nice. I think the Subaru is a car based on both performance and convenience, manual tips the scales towards performance but auto tips the scales towards convenience. There's nothing wrong with an easy to drive car.

as a matter of fact I do love golf carts. You can drive drunk and not put anyone in danger. the worst you can do is hit a tree at 5mph.

Wow...no love.

Not a damn thing wrong with an AT.
Had a blast with my old RB20DET Cefiro with an AT....used to love smoking Skylines and drifting with an auto tranny Plus I ALWAYS launched better on the 0-400 meter drags.

I've seen many people on here slip mention of having a 4EAT, but they wont bluntly come out and admit it
