It sucks. I was driving along, went to downshift 3rd to 2nd. I had my clutch pedal to the floor, and it ground like hell. it was a very slow downshift, and I didn't revmatch like I usually do. I then did the same downshift a few times, it ground every time I downshifted unless I revmatched. all the other downshifts work flawlessly w/o rev-matching. so I conclude that 2nd gear synchro is dead. (1st to 2nd shift is also flawless)

does anyone possibly have a 2nd gear synchro for an EJ22 engine? (1998 Impreza OBS)
Or does anyone know where I could get one relatively cheap? used is ok, as long as it works.

now for the kicker... I'm trying to get this before saturday (the 6th) when I get my clutch and flywheel replaced so I might possibly be able to do it all at once (god willing)
