along with what are the tricky problems that i might encounter when attempting this.

please, n e help would be greatly appreciated!

yes it will. you'll need axle studs, seals, sti or automatic drive shaft, ring and pinion to match the final drive and some other little things. do a search, a lot of writeups on this subject. especially with us 02-03 wrx guys.

um, you sure he'd need a new driveshaft? I was under the impression it was the same housing just slightly altered guts, meaning same length driveshaft

Question release bearing issue

well i ended up buyin the transmission and i am in the process of swappin it out...i am having problems with the clutch release bearing..since it is a pull type and the 03 was a push type. i bought the ACT Clutch kit for the 06 w/ the flywheel but i cant get the bearing to work..

its a push to pull sort of thing. You have to covert your tranny.

Too bad you bought stuff already. I would have sold you a complete swap.

Huh!?!?!?

Your 03 tranny has a pull type pressure plate as well; different design, but it's still a pull style.
