2.5Rs smell clutch

one time i rev my car little too high racing a RSX type s. And i have a 04 2.5rs/3000k on my car and i could smell the clutch burn that time. Because i rev the rpm too high and i didnt let go the clutch all the way. I wonder is it really bad for the clutch and, because of my is so new. Could you guys please tell me or if it's happen to you????????

If you can smell the clutch burning, you've just removed many useful miles of useable clutch life. It's normal smell that odor when you slip the clutch that much, but not good for the clutch in the long run.

You probably would have lost anyway... that type-s would have beat you if you didn't have any mods.

200hp and fwd compared to the 165 and awd you have.
