1st gear broken???????
I've always known that the weakness of the wrx is the gearbox, also that everyone breaks the 2nd and 3rd gear, but the 1st one????????????????????
I was launching at the track when everything happened. the car must have advanced mmm.... 8 ft???, no more.
Every tech page i see, the 2nd gear is always the one that brokes, also in MRT the show a 2nd broke. The why the hell i broke the 1st??????
Now, one thing might be that a day before, y replaced the clutch for a new (original) one.
Does anyone offers a "Forged" main shaft, 1st and 2nd gear pinions?????????

A dealership (Green Valley) broke mine. And it wasn't any gears, they installed the clutch wrong, which allowed the input shaft to spin while the clutch peddal was dpressed, which has in turn F'd up my synchros.-Chris
