02+ 2.5 5MT into GC8?

02+ 2.5 5MT into GC8?
does anyone know of any issues putting a 5MT from a 02+ 2.5RS/TS or 01+ Legacy 2.5 into a 7bolt GC8 RS (ala MY 00-01). I'm assuming ratio's are still the same at 4.11.
For some reason getting a newer 5MT seems less expensive than getting an exact 00-01 MT from a yard.

Well, it sounds like it might work, but be aware that the 2.5TS has the 3.9 final drive...
