Would this Car run high 12s?
This guy claims to run high 12s-low13s with,
Blitz Dual-Pressure Blow-Off Valve
Blitz NuR-Spec Exhausts
Apexi Turbo Timer
Blitz Boost Controller
TurboXS Cat-less Up-Pipe,
Cobb-Tuning Short-Throw Double-Adjustable Shifter
Vishnu Stage Sub-Zero(ECU upgrade).
He also said he would definitely run 12s if he get,
XS Cold Air Intake
DN-performance DownPipe Upgrade
Is this true? all that investment is very small to run that kind of excellent time...

He'll definitely hit the low 13's with that setup. Breaking into the high 12 is going to be very hard, but not impossible.
Check out this link. It has several Professional Tuners with their packages including HP, TQ, 1/4 mile and prices.
http://www.mattrandolph.com/wrx/WRX-...nce-stages.htm
This link have actually peoples car and their mods with some 1/4 mile times:
http://www.mattrandolph.com/wrx/WRX-...erformance.htm
These two links will help determine how his car will perform.
Hope this helps.

You can remove the BOV, Turbo Timer, and Short shifter from that list because they do nothing to make the car faster.
I would say he would run about a 13.3 maybe a 13.1 if it is a cold day. Those numbers on that web site are rather optimistic btw.

Short Shifter does make difference in 1/4mile racing.
After all, shifting is all about racing with manual vehicles aint it?
btw,
there is this WRX guy ran 13.3 with just
ECU upgrade, up-pipe and another bolt-on mod.
how the hell did he get that time?

w/good conditions, 13.2-13.3
w/great conditions, a 13.1-13.2
w/a downpipe & intake, a 12.9-13.0 can be achieved
w/out a downpipe, it is gonna be REALLY hard to break 12s

deeman81,
Good looking numbers. Tell me more about your custom turbo-back. I'm working on one myself for around $400. You can see the details about mine here:

i dont understand!
how come a 6K rpm launch, a 1.9 sec. 60 ft. time anly got me a 14.0!! i had about a dozen runs that day all were big tranny killin clutch dumps and redline shifts
my vf 22 ran 17lbs all the through the powerband!!
could something be wrong with my car?
