I always here people talking about hitting a trap when they are running the quarter mile. What does this mean? Thanks!

 

It's not a literal trap. What they mean is what speed they were at when they crossed the line marking the end of the 1/4 mile run. If someone said they trapped at 102, that means they were at 102mph when they crossed the line. That's all.

 

AHH HAH! I see. I thought it meant that's where the car stopped accelerating as quickly. I'm dumb. LOL. Thanks a lot.

Congratulations! I've been in love with mine since the moment I saw it at the dealer. Any mods?

 

Nothing really performance, I got an STi spoiler and threw that on, it came with the STi short throw shifter and a boost guage, so that's fun. I also removed my intake silencer, which was a pain in the butt but sounds pretty cool. Other than that, I'm just tryin to make the payments.

 

Oh, and I have Excel TZ-10's from my old subie (99 impreza) that I put on becuase I thought the stock tires sucked. Looks pretty cool, tho.
