What mods do you have done?

Then we will know if you should have been ok or not. LS1s are damn quick dude; was it from a dead dig or a roll?

If all you have is an intake, downpipe and exhaust; forget about it dude. From a dead did the ws6 will catch you ~60 and walk you from there. From a roll.. hah, don't make me laugh. Better luck next time and uhh yeah after you put some more money into your ride.

Look at the bright side of things, at least it wasn't a v6 mustang.

Yeah, a friend of mine has a stock WS6 auto. From a stop to about 60mph it's pretty even, depending on the driver. But after that the WS6 is unstoppable. I have an UP, TBE, and Cobb stage 2.

 

LS1s are very quick! u really need a good launch to at least keep up with a slightly modified one. A couple of my friends have LS1s, a Camaro Z28 and a Trans Am, both consistently running low 13s at the strip. I always get em at the launch but they always seem to pull away towards the end. last time i raced both of them i had a panel filter, uppipe, and turboback exhaust. i just recently added a cobb stg 2 reflash and will be adding a gruppe-s header within the next few days. i'll let u know how i do!!!

 

well I would have to say that since i own an 02 ws6 auto with a few mods intake,shiftkit,gears,dragradials, and computer tunning I ran a best of 12.89 @111 at my track with no drag radials gotta go soon same day I ran a 14.0 @ 97 in my wrx before the header gotta go again with both but yes the ws6 ls1s are mean bastards and they will pull you hard at the end just look at my mph and I am mostly stock. just torn between which one to put money into t/a just sits in the garage and comes out on the nice days and has 18kmiles while I beat the hell outta my wrx and drive it often and it has 63kmiles daily driven yeah maybe for now I will just get the turboxs intercooler top mount.
