Need help on Launch.
I have been driving my subie for about two months now, my launches are ok but thier not great and it would be nice to get a couple other ideas. If you guys can give me an Idea on what type of launch(eg. rpm & clutch) is most affective in a drag race with these suby's thanx.

no he's joking. I don't really drag my car ever but when i launch i hold the rpms around 5300 or so then let the clutch out till the car starts moving a little then i let off the clutch really fast. Not a drop really but a fast slip then drop.

if you would wish to KEEP your clutch and tranny
do it at between 3 and 4 grand
don't drag it out b/c you will smell your clutch go bye bye
once it grabs, don't drop it, but let it slide into place, you will be pushed back in your seat with the wind in you hair (if your windows are down)

i keep rev up to about 4200 then i slowly let go, and kind of hold it there until u can feel its save to let go without a bog or letting the rpms drop, then let go of the clutch....but then again i got like a 2.051 on my 60ft

I watch a video from japan with this guy in a white suby just as he was about to launch with that little bit of slip held himself back with the e brake and as soon as the light turned green he let it down, it was a very clean launch not a skirt to be hurd, Just pickin things up from watchin a pro, It sure is easyer to explain then to do.
