my roommate has an s2000 and he used to beat me after 80-90mphs then i dunno what happened but we raced again the other day and he didnt have a chance.

the only change i made to my car was to change the oil back to regular from synthetic, because i changed to synthetic too soon and it was burning oil.

we started at 30 mph through about 135-140 I got him all the way, he was pissed, now he wants to get the comptech supercharger.

oh, i got 3'' hks hi-power turboback , aem cold air intake and hks SQ BOV

we started at 30 mph so i didnt really have the 4wd advantage at the start.

 

Maybe he was off his game that day?

I raced my friends S2K from 25 to 125 and beat him by multiple tractor trailer lengths. Right at the drop of the hammer car lengths started to open up.

 

sweet I challenged one over the summer but he was afraid to step up to the mighty rex. I should have beaten him but have not found out yet it was an 02 s2k I believe. young kid driving it like 17 probably daddys car.

 

i have a s2k and 03 wrx, both stock, the s2k will out perform the wrx.

 

I'm pretty sure that the WRX will burn oil, because it is turbocharged and if you drive at higher RPMs. You'll still need to check the oil regularly with Synthetic and top up when necessary.

 

s2k only had a comptech cf intake i have some mods, maybe thats why
