good time for the mods?

http://wrx.spankaveli.com/ <= Mods List

planned mods (within 3 months) are maf hose, turbo inlet, perrin crank pulley and (within 6 months) utec

It was pretty humid, around 70 degrees. I wasn't driving, my friend was.

Regards,
Spanky

IMO, go with the utec reflash ASAP... that way you can get your car tuned to produce as much safe power as possible....

oh, and if you go with the bigger turbo, you WILL need bigger injectors and a bigger fuel pump...

Do an ECUTek reflash over the UTEC.

Um, so you're saying that with intake, exhaust, headers, I/C hoses and a lighter battery, you ran a 13.697 with a 1.8 second 60 ft?

That doesn't seem right.

You should be gaining about 20 - 22 mph in the last 1/8 mile. Your trap speed should but up near 98+ mph.

Your 60 ft time is not bad, but for some reason your losing more speed than you should in the top end. Try experimenting with your shift points, tire pressures, and try a few gallons of high octane unleaded. Your engine may be pulling just a bit of timing to prevent detonation. Not enough for the car to feel sluggish, but enough to show up in your trap speed.
