hello suby nation, after a weekend worth of up-pipe nightmares i decided to go the track. my best was a 14.1 my mods include HKS up and turbo back exhaust K&N with intake silencer delete w/ramp. i wuz there for six hours and got in 3 runs what a joke. my question is what have ya run with ths set up? thanks in advance. peace.

 

What was your trap speed? That's the indicator of how much power you're putting to the wheels, not so much your E.T. Actually, 14.1 isn't bad considering your mods although with proper engine management like a reflash your car should be capable of turning mid-13s or better with a turboback. The K&N and silencer mod adds no power.

I have a reflash, uppipe, factory downpipe (two cats), and 3" catback and I've turned a best of 13.87 E.T. (backed up with additional runs within 1%).

What were your 60-foot times like? I was only able to muster 1.8 to 1.9 second 60-foot times.

well my worst 60ft time was a 2.2 and best 1.9 . and my best top speed was 95mph. my mods again are HKS full exhaust up pipe and turbo back, downpipe, with Hyper HKS sytem. STI tmc, GFB adjustable bov, air intake silencer delete elbow with K&N, and a ground kit. also i have the WAGON.

 

i ran nearly the same time as you and my only mods are intake delete, airhog, and removal of axle back for the track.. other than that im stock.. my best time was 14.218 @95 and my times were progressively getting better... my best 60ft was 1.983... like wingless wonder said, you need to get an EMS for you to see the full benifits of your mods

 

an 05 Legacy Outback Turbo will run low 14's right out of the show room......go figure...
