I'm reconditioning/upgrading a 97 Legacy Outback and am on the hunt for things to improve aging wagon...on a budget.

My first question:
Will a GDA WRX 5-Speed swap right into car or will there be other parts in the driveline that need to be changed to properly mate the transmission (i.e. driveshaft, rear diff, etc.)?

I realize that it would be a tranny coming from an EJ20T going into an EJ25 (NA).
Are the clutch and flywheel compatible?
