will a 02-03 gas tank fit a 94 impreza 4drs

i am probly going to pick up a full drivetrian from a 02-03 rs just need to know if i need to find a different gas tank or if it should swap over.. ps i was searching and i couldn't find anything about the 02-03 gas tanks thatnk u

yes it will fit...as long as you are doing the car as AWD.

no, if it will remain FWD.

This would be a 94 FWD 1.8L to AWD 2.5L conversion (parts coming from my parted out 02 2.5RS).

Just need to make sure everything will go in.

sweet, it'll all work out good then.

the reason you have to put the newer tank is b/c the old tank doesn't have a cut out area where the driveshaft goes, reason being there was no need when it was FWD but now being thats its AWD, it needs that cut out area for room for the driveshaft.
